BEACHES HABITAT & OCEANSIDE ROTARY TO HOST CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT, ANDER CRENSHAW TO ATTEND
ATLANTIC BEACH… Beaches Habitat for Humanity and Oceanside Rotary are pleased to announce the return of our annual golf tournament, which will now be known as the Builders Classic!
The best ball tournament will benefit affordable housing and charitable giving at the Beaches, and we are so thrilled that United States Congressman Ander Crenshaw will be supporting our cause by playing in the tournament himself.
In addition to playing on the lush greens of Selva Marina Country Club just blocks from the ocean, players will have the opportunity to bid on some great silent auction items including a trip to San Juan, a cabin getaway in North Carolina and a Jaguars jersey signed by Maurice Jones Drew. Guests will also be invited to make a pledge to Habitat through Birdies for Charity. With a minimum $25 pledge, donors can guess the number of birdies at next month’s TPC tournament for the chance to win some great prizes including a trip to New York. To encourage donations to Beaches Habitat, donors will also get the chance to putt on a special green to win gift cards to local favorites like Ragtime Tavern and Campeche Bay.
Guests not involved in the day’s tournament are invited to join us for a delicious barbecue dinner around 5 p.m. during which we will announce the winners of the tournament, proximity prizes and silent auction.
Tickets for an individual golfer ($200), a foursome ($800), or dinner only ($25) may be purchased until the day before the event, Thursday April 29, by calling Mary Anne at 904-241-1222.
