Community Partnerships

As part of our goal of eradicating poverty through education, Beaches Habitat and the City of Atlantic Beach partner with a number of community organizations.

Junior Achievement

Through our partnership with Junior Achievement, we strive to educate our students on financial literacy and a variety of employment opportunities. Because every student learns differently, our programs provide traditional education resources as well as either an interactive game or activity for each lesson. Subjects covered include managing bank accounts, building credit, budgeting and starting a business.

4-H

4-H offers volunteer opportunities for our high school students to mentor and work with students from Mayport Middle and Finegan Elementary Schools.

Jaguar Foundation Honor Rows

Students sit in the Honor Rows section of EverBank Stadium enjoying a Jaguar Game.

Beaches Habitat participates in the Honor Rows sponsored by the Jacksonville Jaguar Foundation. Students that complete our nutritional awareness and physical fitness program are rewarded with tickets to a Jaguar game. To find out more about the Jaguar Foundation see their site, here.
