Join the Beach Bash Planning Committee
On Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 6 o’clock in the evening, Beaches Habitat for Humanity will host its signature event, Beach Bash. In 2021, we’ve moved to a new location, the Land Rover & Jaguar Dealership at 11217 Atlantic Boulevard. We’re excited for a unique, vibrant atmosphere and, most importantly, a bigger crowd of supporters!
Are you a planner? Have a gift for getting things done?
We need you! We are seeking an enthusiastic planning committee to help create a successful event. The Committee will work alongside Beaches Habitat’s development team to meet our fundraising goals. Particular emphasis will be on soliciting corporate and individual sponsorships and donations of items for the silent and live auctions.
The time commitment for serving on the Beach Bash Committee includes:
- occasional meetings leading up to the event;
- some outside work;
- day of event prep;
- and the evening of Beach Bash.
Help manage the auction
In addition to planning volunteers, we are also seeking volunteers with experience managing silent auctions. Using our mobile bidding system, auction volunteers will:
- create database entries for auction donations;
- organize and manage bid sheets;
- assist with item displays;
- and help with checkout and distribution of auction items.
