Staff Spotlight: Amanda Patow

I would like to take a few moments to introduce myself as the new Prep Club Coordinator. My name is Amanda Patow, and I will be working at the Jordan Community Center to support Beaches Habitat homeowners and their student’s journey to succeed by pursuing a college credential. I will be specifically partnering with the Scheidel Foundation and Take Stock in Children, now called the Scheidel Prep Club/TSIC Program.

I was born here in Jacksonville, FL and have lived mostly in the Beaches and Arlington areas my whole life. I graduated from Fletcher High School and attended FSCJ for 2 years and then finished my college education graduating from Florida State University. I am married with 3 children, 1 dog, and 1 cat. My hobbies are cooking, going to the beach, gardening, sewing, and taking my kids to BMX. I love all ages of children, and my favorite is when they come to me with a smile because they are proud of themselves! That is the best!

I look forward to meeting our homeowners and their children and getting to them too!
