After years of dedicated service to Beaches Habitat for Humanity, Debbie is entering a new chapter, filled with time for family, friends, and the people she loves most. While retirement brings excitement, it also brings the bittersweet reality of stepping away from the relationships and daily comradery she has cherished so deeply.

Debbie came to Beaches Habitat with more than two decades of experience in administration, finance, and project coordination. What she brought with her — compassion, positivity, steady leadership, and a gift for making everyone around her feel valued — has been just as important.

Her influence extends far beyond her job description. Debbie helped shape the culture of our staff, supported our operations with grace and grit, and left a mark on countless projects and milestones.

I look forward to retirement and spending more time with family and friends. It is also bittersweet — I will miss the comradery and friendships with the people I have worked with.

During her tenure, she helped secure approximately $12 million in local, state, and federal funding — resources that have directly shaped the lives of families in need of decent, affordable housing. Her deep understanding of finance, compliance, and grants allowed Beaches Habitat to grow steadily and responsibly, even as housing needs in our community increased.

Debbie was also instrumental in securing the land for our current development, Coastal Haven. Her persistence, attention to detail, and commitment to the mission helped turn possibility into reality. Forty-four new homes will stand there in the years ahead — a legacy rooted in her work.
