BUILD
Together, we put faith into action.
What is Faith Build?
At Beaches Habitat, we welcome the diversity of faith groups that are reflective of our local communities, including all worldviews and faith traditions, to contribute to our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Local faith communities can choose to partner with Beaches Habitat through Service, Prayer, or Giving to build a new home for a local family.
Why Faith Build?
Faith calls people in many traditions to care for their neighbors and to act on that care. Beaches Habitat’s Faith Build offers a meaningful way to put that calling into practice – whether through service, prayer, or giving – alongside families building toward an affordable home. When faith communities come together around a shared purpose, the impact reaches far beyond the walls of any one congregation.
Serve
Choose a volunteer opportunity that best suits your congregation, whether that’s building on the site or creating housewarming cards for the homeowner.
Pray
Pray for the lives touched by Beaches Habitat’s work—at an on-site event like a dedication or wall-raising, or at your place of worship.
Give
Make a financial contribution to help a local family build toward an affordable place to call home.
Who Can Participate?
Every faith community is welcome -- this includes congregations, interfaith groups, youth groups, men’s and women’s ministries, and more. Whether you partner for a one-day event or adopt a full build, your group can participate in a way that fits your mission and schedule.
There’s no cost to join the build, only your heart and hands. If your group chooses to give financially, you’ll help accelerate the build and receive special recognition as a Faith Partner.
