Since breaking ground on our first home in October of 1991, Beaches Habitat has completed construction on 353 new homes and 77 renovations or repairs of existing homes. The team at Beaches Habitat strives to provide a supportive, challenging, and enriching environment for our AmeriCorps members. As they gain experience and confidence, members will become leaders, taking on increasing levels of responsibility and engaging more in our programs. Through new home construction, home repair, and volunteer engagement, Beaches Habitat’s AmeriCorps members will help us meet our goal of building four new homes and repairing 10 homes for local older homeowners in 2022-2023.
