3rd Quarter Celebration

Saturday, April 27th at the Ocean Gate “Love Thy Neighborhood” event, we will hold the third quarter Prep Club celebration. Students will be presented to the community and receive their checks so everyone can hear about their wonderful accomplishments!

An Exciting Partnership

Beaches Habitat for Humanity and the Scheidel Foundation have partnered for many years to offer the Prep Club to dependents of Beaches Habitat homeowners, recognizing and rewarding students for academic accomplishments while helping them learn about and prepare for college. Starting in the 2019-2020 school year, Prep Club will partner with Take Stock in Children (TSIC), another wonderful college readiness program in our community, to better prepare students for college!

Though TSIC has always been available to Beaches Habitat students, it will now be a formal partner of the Prep Club, and participation in one will mean participation in the other. Together, they will work to provide students with quarterly rewards and parties, mentoring and college planning coaching, college test prep classes, college field trips, college information sessions for parents, and more.
